General Information 
 

Creative Dance

 

Three to four year olds - Introduction to music and dance through improvisation, developing motor skills and basic ballet movements.
 

 

 

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pre- Ballet

 

For Children four to six year olds - Includes movement and basic ballet. The young dancer will be introduced to music, rhythmus, and group activities.

 

Beginner Ballet I

 

For Children six to eight years. An introduction to elementary ballet technique positions and steps stressing body placement and flexibility.

 

Beginner Ballet II

 

By audition - A program especially designed to strengthen younger bodies and emphasis on the classical ballet technique Strong emphasis on the classical ballet technique and discipline.

 

Intermediate Ballet

By audition - A concentrated study of classical technique. Strong emphasis is placed on barre and center technique. Ponite shoes are introduced at this level at the instructor's approval.

 

Advanced Ballet
 
An accelerated class for the advanced dancer to perfect artistic skills and technique through intensive training.

 

Adult ballet

 

Beginner through advance levels with exercises to tone, stretch and strengthen. A dance card can be purchased for classes.

 

Calendar
 
Our annual school calendar consist of 3 sessions. The Fall session begins in mid-August and continues through mid-December. The Spring session will immediately follow from January through May. Students who enroll in the Fall session as well in order to perform in the spring recital.

 

Our annual recital will be held at the end of the Spring term. Dates and times TBA. All students will participate. Summer session will be held in June and July.

 

Placement and Advancement

 

Students will be placed according to their age and more importantly by their technique. Students will be required to study in each level a minimum of one year and need to be enrolled year round for all three sessions to be considered for all three sessions to be considered for promotion to the next level. Students will be evaluated by the instructor for their progress at the end of the Spring term for Summer or Fall promotion.

 

Visiting

 

Parents and other visitors will not be allowed to observe classes. No exceptions for visiting family. Do not leave children, child's friends or siblings at the studio during or after classes. We cannot be responsible for their safety.

Tuition Information:

Registration Fee  $10
1 Class Per Week  $250 or $50/month 
2 Classes Per Week  $490 or $98/month 
3 Classes Per Week  $730 or $146/month 
  
*Payments will be due the 15th of each month. Includes GE tax. No refunds for missed classes. A late fee of $10 per month will be charged for overdue tuition.  
 
Adult Dance Card (8 Classes) $105
Dance Card Expires 4 Months From Purchase  
 
~DRESS CODE~ 

Each level has its own required colored leotard and skirt. All dancers will be responsible for wearing the correct outfit for their class level as well as pink tights and ballet shoes. NO VARIATIONS OF CLASS OUTFITS WILL BE ALLOWED. All dance supplies are available at the studio for purchase at the first class. Hair must be pulled back and off face at all times. No jewelry should be worn to class.
